Growing up in Southern California Tanner developed a love and respect for the ocean. Surfing and spending days at the beach were great until his folks told him he had to start paying his own bills, that's when he decided that flying airplanes would probably be the next best thing to laying in a hammock and drinking beer. Tanner spent the next 10 years flying in and out of airports all over the U.S, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Currently Tanner is a NAVY EOD Tech and is serving as an instructor for Naval school explosive ordnance disposal. He and his very tolerant wife, Becky, reside in Miramar beach, Florida with a bad dog named Chancho. Tanner still spends as much time as possible laying in a hammock drinking beer
